Born and schooled in Pretoria, Mark started a career in financial services with First National Bank in 1990. At FNB he progressed through an accelerated training program, discovering both his passion and talent for investments.

In 1993 he joined Standard Corporate and Merchant Bank as an investment training consultant and in 1996 he joined TMA Investment Product Services as a business development advisor. In 1998 Mark became an independent advisor and concentrated on building an own business within the financial services industry.

He registered with the Financial Services Board as a representative Investment Manager and in 2004, with the introduction of the Financial Advisors and Intermediary Services Act, Mark continued as a category II licensed Financial Services Practitioner (FSP).

Mark is the founding Director of the business since its inception in 2001 and is driven by his commitment to the industry and the clients of the business.

Mark has experience in radio media where he was the resident financial talk host on Impact Radio 103FM for 12 years. This allowed him an added dimension to his career.

He has a Certificate of Proficiency in Retirement Funds, a certificate in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, and is currently studying towards his Certified Financial Planner designation.
